This is disk 2 of 3. This disk is of NO value without disk one of JOVE.
This disk contains only the compressed c-language source (without the
include files). The third disk contains the documentation for JOVE.
This is JOVE, Jonathon's Own Version of Emacs. I've added a few files
to make life a little easier for IBM-PC/clone users: COMPILE.BAT, LOAD.BAT
and LOAD.LST. COMPILE.BAT compiles all of the source necessary to construct
the JOVE executable. LOAD.BAT loads it using the list in LOAD.LST. The
compile options and files are set for compatibles rather than for MS-DOS.
For those with MS-DOS machines, read the documentation in the DOC directory.
Also you will find a copy of the COMPRESS.EXE program (source is on
another PC-SIG disk). You will need to apply this to the source files and
to any files whose names end in .Z or .?XZ. To decompress, execute the
following: "compress -d filename". To decompress all of the files, execute
"decomp".
The entire system is on two disks which, if one wishes to build the .EXE
oneself, must be combined onto at least a 1.2mb disk. Combine the /src
directories into one. If you don't wish to build the executable yourself,
then you only need the first disk.
The file called MANIFEST contains the list of the files on all three
disks, excluding those which i've added. It also excludes JOVE.DXZ, the
printable documentation file on disk 3 provided for those who do not have a
full NROFF with -MS macros.
